Energy Blockchain for Public Energy Communities

This paper suggests an application of blockchain as energy open data ledger, designed to save and track regarding the footprint public buildings communities. The developed platform permits writing production consumption using blockchain-enabled smart meters. Once authenticated on blockchain, this can be made available domain for techno-economic analyses either research studies internal or third parties audits, increasing, in way, perceived transparency institutions. A further feature platform, starting previously disclosed raw data, allows calculating, validating, sharing sustainability indicators facilities, allowing tracking their improvements goals. also provides preliminary results a field-test experimentation proposed group buildings, highlighting possible benefits its widespread exploitation.
